President and Commissioner:
1. League Setup
1.1 The TNTFFL will consist of no more than 10 franchises divided into 2 divisions consisting of 5 teams each.
1.2 The Tornado Division will be made up of the odd numbered teams, and the Blizzard Division will be made up of the even numbered teams. Team numbers will be identical to the draft order drawn at the pre draft meeting.
1.3 Franchise fee will be $60.00 per team. All franchise fees are payable to the treasurer prior to the first pick at the draft meeting.
1.4 Unless a team opts out, all teams will be entered in the Playoff Challenge. The Playoff Challenge will take place during the NFL Playoffs. The $5.00 fee will come out of the team’s regular fantasy football season.
The TNTFFL will use the performance scoring system, which is defined as follows:
2.1.1 Each starting player will receive 1 point for every 30 yards passing
2.1.2 TD pass will receive 4 points
2.1.3 “2 Point” conversion pass will receive 1 points
2.1.4 2 points will be deducted for each turnover
2.2.1 Each starting player will receive I point for every 10 yards rushing
2.2.2 Rushing TD will receive 6 points
2.2.3 “2 Point” conversion run will receive 2 points
2.2.4 2 points will be deducted for each turnover
2.3.1 Each starting player will receive I point for every 10 yards receiving
2.3.2 Receiving TD will receive 6 points
2.3.3 “2 Point” conversion reception will receive 2 points
2.3.4 2 points will be deducted for each turnover
2.4.1 Field goals 45 yards and under will receive 3 points
2.4.2 Field goals 45 yards and over will receive 5 points
2.4.3 Extra points will receive 1 point
2.4.4 2 points will be deducted for each missed/blocked field goal under 35 yards
2.4.5 2 points will be deducted for each missed/blocked extra point
2.5 Defense/Special Teams
2.5.1 Each Special Team/Defensive TD will receive 6 points
2.5.2 Each Fumble Recovery and Interception will receive 2 points
2.5.3 Each Safety will receive 4 points
2.5.4 Each Sack will receive 1 Point
2.5.5 A shutout will receive 7 points
2.5.6 Preventing a 4th Down Conversion will receive 2 Points
2.5.7 Preventing a “2 Point” Conversion will receive 2 points
3. Determining the Winner
3.1 The winner of the game shall be the team that had its starting players score the most points during the week.
3.2 In the case of a tie during a regular season game the winner will be determined as follows:
3.2.1 The team whose reserves score the most points wins the tie
3.2.2 If it remains a tie the game will be considered a tie
3.3 In the case of a tie during a playoff game the winner will be determined as follows:
· The team whose reserves score the most points wins the tie
· Most points scored by the Tight End (if more than one tight end starting the highest score will be used)
· Special Teams/Defense
· Running Back
· Rock, Paper or Scissors
3.4 In the case of a tie for division standings at the end of the regular season, the same rules used by the NFL to break a tie will be used
3.5 The winner of the Playoff Challenge shall be the team that had all its players score the most points during the NFL playoffs
4.1 There will be a three-minute time limit between picks. If you are not ready to make a selection in three minutes, the next team will make their pick, and then you may follow that pick with your own choice
4.2 The draft will consist of 12 rounds.
4.3 A Serpentine draft will be used (Round #1 will start with team 1 and round #2 will follow with team 10, and so on)
4.4 Each franchise must draft the following positions:
· 4 Running Backs
· 4 Receivers (At least 1 must be a tight end)
· 1 Kicker
· 1 Defense/Special Teams
5.1 After the original draft, you may carry any combination of the positions on your roster.
5.2 A roster must not exceed 13 players at any one time
5.3 Players must be eligible to play in the position that they are listed by the NFL
5.4 Each team will submit a lineup to the commissioner or assistant, 1 hour prior to the first game of the week. If no lineup is received the previous week’s lineup will be used.
5.5 The starting line up will consist of the following:
· 1 Quarterback
· 2 Running Backs
· 3 Receivers (At least 1 must be a tight end)
· 1 Kicker
· 1 Special Team/Defense
5.6 All free agent pickups will be handled on a bid basis. Minimum bids will be $2.00, and bids must be placed in .25 increments. The commissioner and the assistant must place their bids to each other by 10PM Wednesday of each week. All other bids must be given to the commissioner by 10PM Thursday each week. During the weeks that have a Thursday game, all bids must be made by 10PM Wednesday. If the commissioner is not available then bids may be placed with the assistant. If your pickup puts you over the 13-player limit you must advise the commissioner or assistant of the player(s) to be dropped.
5.7 All trades are subject to veto by the commissioner or assistant. Veto’s are subject to appeal at a meeting of all team owners (majority at meeting). After Week #10, if your team has been eliminated from the playoffs, you will be ineligible to make trades. All trades will be assessed a fee of $1.00 per player traded.
5.8 All proceeds from free agent pickups and trades will go into the payoff pot.
